Well the core of the game will still be the same, but what intrigues me is the lack of any word on the music store. Considering GH5's improvements, it's gonna be tough for HMX and Pi to fight back.

Actually, it might be easier. Since GH5 is going to work right out of the box on 9/1, that gives HMX and Pi essentially 6 weeks to get it working for TB:RB. The only concern is if there's something coded in the disc that can't be circumvented in the store.

We have no word on that yet.

^The thing is, if they do, a lot of Wii players who are aware of DLC will be displeased with HMX, blaming them for not being able to do this etc. Not exactly good for competition and business

Sitting here patiently waiting for you to go check the release date of Abbey Road DLC. When you're ready to apologize, I'll be here.

No, I meant weeks. There will be nothing to buy in the online store for the Wii the day of release. If it's something that can be done in the store programming (i.e., isn't encoded on disc -- cf my original comment), they don't have to have it ready until Abbey Road is released on DLC.

There's still the Gamestop promo DLC.

Which we won't buying as a full album, so still no worries. The only major advantage GH5 DLC Store will have over TB:RB is the ability to buy both albums and singles. SD streaming is a minor concern.

Still, I would be happier of HMX and Pi released some details about the game.
