Yeah, some of you are going to hate. But a few of his tracks fit the format, are overall great songs, and would give the vocalists some fun.

I expect to hear the following insults:

-"Why don't we just get the songs he sampled lol..."
-"This is ROCK Band, not cRAP Band..."
-"All hip-hop/rap sucks..."
etc. etc. etc.

Get over yourselves. The following tracks (save Through the Wire) have original guitar parts, and non-sampled percussion. And some kickass violin on The College Dropout tracks. Songs to use:

I really want to burn you at the stake for this. He made a great (but overrated) song by Daft Punk and absolutely BUTCHERED it. I know it's going against what you said in the OP, but give me the original over this any day.

I might pick up the other songs to support hip hop in the game, but I'm not much of a fan.

I think he did the opposite. The song is one of the stronger ones on his 2nd weakest album.

Agreed. Not a big fan of him (although rather him than Snoop Dog.) I'd like Run DMC and Public Enemy more, but I do think that more Hip Hop should be in the game. Kanye could be a good intro to Rock Band, and he'd be good for parties.

If we are going to get Hip/Hop, then please god atleast get Hip/Hop with talent. BTW when i heard his song Stronger on the radio i cried at how a song i've loved for years had been turned into straight vomit.
