Well obviously GH5 will sell plenty more the first week than just their pre-order total, so we'll see. But clearly TB:RB has a good start. With a starting point like that you'd have to think TB:RB's first week will beat GH5's. It's the long-run that matters though.

GH5 stands to do very well leading into the holidays. They earned the chance, because they made an outstanding game (relatively speaking, of course). But my personal theory is that Beatles Rock Band is more likely to win the family market than either Lego Rock Band or Band Hero:

• There's more stuff everyone knows.
• You don't have to worry about what's in the content.
• I could be wrong, but I could see quite a few little kids being dazzled by this game. Every time I've tried it at Best Buy, it draws some kids that stop for a second to watch. The test will be when I take it over to my friend's house and see what their 3-year-old Spencer thinks of it.
• Three microphones means more people can participate in a way that isn't complicated. That means grandparents and, once again, little kids. I'm totally going to teach Spencer to sing I Am The Walrus if they let me.

The wii guitars fell off the list, cuz they sold out. Only the xbox rick hasn't sold out.

For rhythm games, rock band is 4 of the top 5 for ps3, 6 of the top 9 for wii, 8 of the top 11 for xbox.

For Pop album preorders, Beatles are #1-12, 15, 19.

Never thought it'd happen, but the disc-only WII version is #1 on Amazon's overall video games chart. At least 3 of the guitars would be charted if Amazon hadn't sold out of them.
