    3 Vocalists on PS3?

    Just a question about that

The Rock Band USB microphones need their own port in order to register on the game, for whichever reason, and the rest of the instruments occupy the other USB port on a USB port stick.

The thing that catches this, though, is current PS3s only have 2 USB ports on the front.

The stick has only 1 slot free with all instruments, so even if they did work on it, you'd need two of those.

i think you'll need to get 2 USB sticks/hubs, also can 2 guitars work on one dongle?

yep, you need a hub. I'm one of those lucky owners that got the amazing 60GB models that hade pretty much everything including 4 USB ports.

Yes, I use a dongle with 2 guitars and 1 drum set and sometimes the wireless controller hooked up because of low batteries.

Microphone doesn't work on the dongle for some reason, it needs its own port.

The Singstar microphones only use one port. They might need a powered hub though. I can recommend this:

It's a amazing 2 pad charger with powered 3 usb hub. It plugs in into your PS3 power cable (!) and drains juice straight out of it. I use that in one port and a cheap chinese 2.0 hub in the other, so I can use up to 7 peripherals at any given time - that's more than I need.

Amazon still sells the RB offical powered hub. I have one and it works just fine.
