i had the cymbals and they actually broke on me which is a shame

You play on lefty-flip. (No crash cymbal for you.
)
You don't play drums on Hard or Expert very often (I mean, you could, but it probably wouldn't be as fun)
You expect the game to tell you what's a cymbal hit and what would be done on the pad.
If any of those apply to you, don't get 'em. Otherwise, go for it! I plan on getting them ASAP after I get TB:RB!Upgrade for Harmonies:
