    Best Beatles Biography

Huh. Didn't mean to make the title an alliteration, but interesting how that worked out. Anyway.

I just finished reading The Beatles by Bob Spitz, and I thought it was a fascinating biography. Not only a good overview of the Beatles career, but it was a damn entertaining book overall. Amazon.com http://www.amazon.com/Beatles-Biogra...2373719&sr=1-1

Any one else read any good Beatles biographies?

SHOUT! is pretty good. And I loved the book by Bob Spitz too. I'm thinking about heading down to the local library to see if they have Anthology. Is it a good book?
    My three favorite bands.
    1. The Beatles
    2. The Grateful Dead
    3. The Who
Looks like I picked the right game!

For required summer reading at my school, John Lennon: All I Want is the Truth was on the list. It was great.
HMX, I love you. You introduced me to my favorite band, The Beatles. And now you're making a game for my first favorite, Green Day. Thank you so much

The Anthology is the obvious answer...although that's more of an autobiography.

Best one I've read is "Can't Buy Me Love", does a great job of discussing everything else going on in the musical world so you get better sense of the context of their accomplishments.

I've read a bunch, but this is really the best all-around book you can get on the Beatles. And seeing as how used hardcover copies can be had on amazon for around $5, it can't be beat!

The Bob Spitz biography was my textbook in the college course I took that was all about The Beatles. Best class I've ever taken.
