Stars in quickplay/career

I've seen that stars are in quickplay and career in this game.

Does this mean patch for RB2 soon?

Hopefully.

But I am guessing probably not. TB:RB has many improvements which have been desired or lightly promised and while I really do like Harmonix, I have very little faith in them updating anything.

I talked to one of the Harmonix guys at their booth at PAX (I believe it was Caleb Epps) about Rock Band Network and he said that the patch that would introduce RBN functionality would also add some more features like organizing the songs by star count.

Sounds like this could also be a part of that.
