Ok, Im obviously new at this, so please bare with me. I only had played before with Guitar Hero games, and I recently purchased a PS3 and got the Beatles Rock Band game.
To my surprise (I know, I know) I only found out back home that I couldnt play this game with the regular ps3 controllers, but that I needed some instruments to play. So, I got a lent guitar controller, but I still cant play!! It tells me I need to plug in a microphone!!
Is this ok? Cant I only play as a guitarist? Do you always need a mi plugged in?
Im pretty sure theres something wrong here...
Any help is much appreciated.
thanks!
Funny Story: My friend and I were playing this, and he was about to play the phrase where you earn Beatlemania, and he said, "Where's the white key?" I laughed, but he was serious. It was a long phrase so he came close to failing. The next time it happened, he failed. I said, "Good joke, man. You made us fail." He said, "It wasn't a joke!" He's... a little slow
Keyboards? In MY Rock Band? It's more likely than you think.
TBRB is the best music game of all time.
If you put the greatest band of all time in a game it=the greatest music game of all time
Beatles 4Ever
Yay someone is supporting the game

Great game but there are definitely some important songs/albums missing. For example, Let it Be should become downloadable. And so should (at least disc on of) The Beatles [White Album].
great tracklist (was hoping Glass Onion would have made the cut)....kinda disappointed that we ain't get a exported tracklist at E3 though, going to suck switching discs back and forth just cause I want to play a Beatles song or 2 than switch back to regular RB
Just got TB:RB last Saturday. Man am I having fun and reliving my youth. I have
played so much my finger tips hurt again. How can anyone not love The Beatles
and the music they created.
Peace!
I didn't actually grow up being a fan of The Beatles music but when
the game was announced back in August I was so happy,
even obsessive about it. A friend of mine had purchased
the "Love" album and got me hooked. I pre-ordered 3 weeks
in advance with the basic guitar/drum set bundle
and my oh my, watching my parents sing harmonies
together was such a beautiful sight.
Pros:
* The visuals are amazing, vibrant and colorful - a true work of art!
* While the song list is rather short, most every song is memorable
and worth playing-- if only to be immersed in the dreamscapes
* Extras are really cool-- short and funny clips, with rare photos
capture the wit and passion of The Beatles at their best.
Cons:
* The visuals can detract from the game play, making note charts
difficult to see especially with "Beatlemania" on... even moreso
when you enter the purple highway of a "Bass Groove."
* I can forgive the short set list but there are key songs
which should have really made it into this game,
like "Help!" and "Strawberry Fields Forever."
The absence of these 2 songs alone is inexcusable.
And no further dlc has been planned outside of the 3 albums
"Abbey Road," "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band"
and "Rubber Soul" sorry to say, I'm not feeling the love.
* Finally, only half of the Achievements for this game
are any fun to get. Not everyone has the hands or stamina
to play on Expert Guitar all the time and Expert Vocals
is a pain, like no matter which octave my voice was in
it was either too high or too low on the meter. Frustrating.
Despite these shortcomings TBRB is the finest example
of what music-based games are truly capable of.
Thank you Harmonix, Apple and thank you, Beatles
for enriching my life and I hope I passed the audition!
