You can ignore it. Its old discounted hardware. And when the year old RB2 bundles are gone, guess whats going to be around?

A perfectly priced Beatles bundle. Nobody is getting ripped off.

The set is a rip-off, especially considering the RB2 bundle is selling for $99 bucks right now (ok, list is $150, but still). LE editions being rip-offs is nothing new. IGN singled out this one, posting a special review which recommends the Guitar Hero bundle, when GH5 is advertising all over their site. I don't think this is the most outrageous LE set I've ever seen. At least the bonus materials are functional to the game. Batman LE sold a 10 cent batarang for 30 bucks that wasn't even nice to look at.

That "special review" was the result of paid advertising by a competitor and that is why I am critical of the review.

How in the hell is it waaaaaaay overpriced? The wireless drums are worth 90 bucks. Lets take 20 bucks off the guitar.

So we have:

60 - game
90 - bucks
80 - guitar
20 - mic
15 - mic stand.

15 dollar discount.

the console costs 20% less than the game bundle.

I disagree strongly with Mr. Hilary Goldstein on this. I also personally feel that the Hofner is my favorite guitar to play since we got into this biz.

I agree! The only problem is adjusting to the slightly longer neck but it doesn't take long. The buttons are quieter on the Hofner than they are on the Gretsch.. did anyone else notice? Odd, that.

you can't say 'besides the RB2 bundle being $98, what reason do you have to call it overpriced.'

the reason it is overpriced is BECAUSE the RB2 bundle is more than half its cost but offers essentially the same thing. if you look at it from a value-oriented standpoint, its drastically overpriced.

that being said, a lot of stuff is overpriced. a lot of stuff i buy is overpriced.

Because they are on clearance. So you are saying if they werent on clearence the Beatles bundle wouldnt be a rip off? Just a question.
