Just back from Gamestop Midnight Release!

So, I've just returned with my LE bundle and I'm unpacking it right now. There were 18 other people there waiting to pick up the game, and only two other bundles that had been pre-ordered. They didn't have any of the other guitars and neither did the Wal-Mart next door. In fact, the Wal-Mart didn't even have the game or anything out! Just a blank space where it's gonna go. I'll have to pick up the Rickenbacker tomorrow.

Right off the bat, the Hofner and the drums look fantastic! The wood grain on the Hofner is very realistic and it's a good size. It's almost as big as my real Hofner bass! I'm gonna have to wait to play it tomorrow since the wife is asleep, but I'm dang glad to have it here at home finally!

We didn't get enough hours this week to do a midnight release. Had we, I would have got to do my first midnight release. I'm sad.

Where do we enter our codes for the 3 free songs? It says "gamestop.com/beatles" and to click pre-order customers, but that isn't there yet. maybe later?

After a wonderful text message reminding us that our paid for bundle will be ready for the midnight release ... Gamestop screwed us out of the midnight release UGH! ... I think I shed a tear on the window of the closed store ...

... so tell me ... it is really as good as I imagine isn't it ... *sigh*

I just got home from there too. Really awesome, all the guys were dressed up and had it out and playing it. Was a lot of fun. Of course I get my copy home and my crapbox gets the red rings....one more day I guess.
