Hi everyone, I'm new to Rock Band and want to purchase the Beatles Rock Band on Xbox.
As I don't have any of the Rock Band instruments and just plan on buying the basic game, will I still be able to play the guitar parts on my normal xbox wireless controller?

Nah, the controller is used for the microphone, just get like a 20 dollar mic or something and sing along.

It's the guitar parts that I want to play, but not sure whether i need a rock band/guitar hero guitar to do it.

You do need the respective instrument. It says so on the front of the case and everything. End of story.

Nope! The game controller only is used to navigate mics.
