Gold stars?

Is there gold stars in this? It doesn't seem like it, but I thought I would just make sure. It is an awesome game by the way.

Hey mate, there certainly is. It's definitely harder to achieve. For all of mine I needed 99-100% notes hit, but still had some songs on 99% that didn't get gold.

yep thats right. There are gold stars, but you have to be really good to get them. I have a few myself, so I definetely know that there are gold stars.

I've got ten so far. Mind you it's taken all day to get them (few goes at the songs, it's 10:09PM here in Australia so had about twelve hours)

Ok, is it easy to distinguish them from normal stars? I was thinking, while playing, that gold stars should be really hard to get, and it turns out they are! That's great news, thanks for answering.

Do the Stars stay on your record? For instance, does it show my progress; 3-stars,4-stars,5-stars,Gold Stars? If I gold star a song will I know which songs i have gold starred? even at a latter date?
