i constantly find myself messing up in songs because i stop paying attention to the song and start watching the dreamscape. they are freaking awesome.

it's commonly joked about that while the songs are easy to play compared to many in the other rock band games, the true challenge comes to the player not to be distracted by all of the pretty things going on in the background

I'm tempted to memorize charts so I can enjoy the scenery playing the game in performance mode!
