Rent it first. My honest opinion is that it's awfully expensive for the tiny bit of content.

Rent it, and if you like it, get the game.

If you are looking for challenge then no. I FC'd Get Back my and Octopus's Garden my first try, and those are last tier.

I was excited to get it and I'm happy with it. However, Once I get the trophies, I doubt I'll play it much. I like the Beatles and all, but I prefer the variety of bands on RB.

this i agree with. i have tried and tried to like the beatles music they never did anything for me. though i have all dlc theres plenty of bands that i cant stand but the charts are amazing like the dead. so i got TB:RB and the charts look they might be fun but all the dreamscape stuff and extras and collecting photos has turned me off more ! so rent it ,see if you can get past the stuff. Its hard to see the highway which makes playing not very fun and then not liking the music doubles my pain with this game. Kudos to HMXthey did a great job with some of the features that should be put in to RB 3. The virtual Beatles though are more creepy looking then the creepy Kurt Cobain in GH 5 .

H 5 that i could of did with out.

I have to agree with most people here: if you don`t like the music you won`t like this game. I wasn`t a really big Beatles fan, but I always enjoyed their music. Now with this game I really got a better feeling of who the Beatles were, where they came from and how they developed to probably the most influential band of all time.

The songs are pretty easy but on guitar (and the latter drum songs) a lot of fun to play. But you really only have 45 songs that are pretty short, and if you donīt like to listen to them, and don`t care about experiencing the career of the Beatles than this game is not for you.

If you kinda like the music this is a great game that might get old a little faster than the normal RB game. I mean the Beatles were great with a lot of really cool songs, but I don`t think most people really need much more than 10-20 extra songs after they`ve bought this game, if they are not die hard fans. So I do expect this game to be on the shelves in a few weeks, and the RB2 disc back in the tray. But everytime I see it sitting there on the shelve I will be smiling ;-)

...am I the only one wondering why the OP owns the entire Beatles catalog despite not even liking them?

Do you often go out and buy all the music of bands you don't like?

    Thumbs up

The OP did not say that he *bought* the entire Beatles catalog; just that he "owns" it.
