I Feel Fine gold stars

My OD path was using the first half bar as soon as the solo starts, then using a three quarter bar as soon as I got it (since there's only 5 Beatlemania sections in the song).

Anyone able to confirm that Bass is still un-Gold Starable?

I got 100% on drums with one overhit near the end and no gold stars. So its not just bass that has it hard on this song .

I had a similar problem with I Me Mine. Couldn't FC it on guitar, so I tried bass. Couldn't GS for the life of me. Got a friend, who sang. We both FCed but no GS. We then came across a pretty good drummer and I finally GSed it.

If you have a vocalist that can FC this, then drop the bass and just do it solo vocals. It's ridiculously easy to GS this song on solo vocals if you can FC it. And even easier if you have 1 or 2 other singers to do the harmonies.

While in the challenge sets, you can carry over your current multiplier and BM meter, completions in these challenges don't count towards achievements. I was about to gold star "I Feel Fine" going in with 6x and 1/2 a BM meter on bass, hitting gold about 10 notes from the end. But - no county towards that one GS achievemtn.

Right, that's clearly an intentional game design decision. They don't count toward the GS achievements BECAUSE you carry over BM and multiplier from song to song.

Its hard. The best I've done on bass was 38,330 and still no Gold stars. The path on this song for bass seams like a no brainer but its driving me nuts.

38,352 was the best I could do and still nothing. I dont think you can get it on bass. Someone got 39,147 for top score on 360 so dont know how they got that would love to but good luck getting the path from them. My path was 2/2 i squeeeeeeeeeeeezed as much as I could on the sustains to get the most out. 1st use was on the first O second was next note. Hope that helps if some else comes up with something better let me know.

This FC is quite a pain as you need to FC it on guitar (solo), as band gold stars don't count. The thing you want to do is use your first half bar of star power as the solo is starting. Save the 3/4 of star power from the rest of the song until nearly the end, where all the ho's/po's are.

If you managa all that you should get the GS on the last held note.

If your playing this on bass it isn't possible to GS. The #1 scorer on the 360 leader boards has 39,147 and that isn't even a GS. GS for guitar is somewhere around 75,400. You will need to FC the song and use Beatlemania during the 3 note chord sections.

I Me Mine wasn't quite as hard but its very tough to get on bass. When your first able to use star power use it. It should be almost 3/4 a bar since the first star power section is sustains. When you get half a bar of star power again, wait about 3-5 seconds then use it. If you do this right you will hit the last star power section of notes right before your star power runs out giving you another 1/4 of a bar. If you FC the song and follow that path you should end up with enough. If you don't get that last 1/4 of a bar you'll always end up about 200pts short. This took me a good hour to get a good path and it may take some time to figure out exactly when to use the 2nd star power to get that last 1/4 of a bar perfect.
