    Hofner Bass query

Hi everyone, I know people hate new threads that are pointless, but I couldn't find where else to post and decided you fine people are the best to ask. I recieved my copy of Rockband today and noticed just above the white scratch plate, between the strummer there is a small but perfectly neat hole. I was wondering if everyone's is like this, if so it's no big deal, just the design, however if mine has a bit of a defect I wouldn't be overly happy!
Other than this, the game is fantastic!
    Thanks for any replies!

Not sure, but guessing that is the microphone used for auto-calibration.

It sounds to me like one of the auto calibration holes. If you check your TB:RB manual or the calibration options in game you'll get a lot more info, but basically there's a tiny mic and photo lens in the body of the guitar that will sync with your tv for the most accurate lag between strumming and hitting notes in game. Hope that helps!

Ah thanks very much for the quick replies!
I've looked again and it does seem like that, as there is indeed a little camera in the scratch plate. Thanks again

Thanks for the confirmation. How did you break it?
    That is so gutting!
I don't know what I'd do after the long wait
