Wait a minute - your family is going to return the game because they can't have the flashing lights and fog that were so NOT symbolic of the Beatles experience?

If the flashing lights and fog are that important to them, yes I guess you should return the game. They're clearly not Beatles fans, maybe they'd have more fun with GH5.

I gotta agree with this. Even though I would love for my stage kit to work, it certainly doesn't detract from the game by not having it. It's The Beatles for goodness sake!!!

According to the article below. Harmonix will NOT be releasing a future patch to support the stage kit NOR is there any intent to support it in the future.

<*****ing you can ignore this part>Maybe all of our guitars, drums, and mics will be de-supported in the future as well.

reading comprehension FTW, where in the article do you see the above bolded text? What I saw was this "Harmonix has confirmed to our pals over at Joystiq that a compatibility patch won't ever be produced for the newest RB title, and when pressed about compatibility with future titles, the rep simply stated that the company "hasn't announced any future titles at this time."

so, "having not announced any future titles at this time" = de-supported for future titles.... Wow, GoGo Forum Hype Machine.
Bands I want in Rock Band: C,S,N & Y, Pink Floyd, ELO, Cream, Genesis, Donovan & The Moody Blues.

Once again, why is this even an issue? It's 45 freaking songs. I think you can live without stage kit support.

Now, if you'd allow me, I'd like to take a chance to improve this thread. Instead of "OMG NO STAGE KIT SUPPORT IN TEH BEATLZ? IM GUNNA RETURN MA GAME!", let's just say, "Thanks, Harmonix, for keeping the stage kit support on DLC. You technically didn't have to, but we really appreciate that we can still use the stage kit on most songs".
I wish I had a cool sig. But, instead, I have this.

I'd sooner return the stage kit

Well we can put this one to bed now.. No support for stage kit. I got my answer.. All I was looking for. If they would only have done this before release (in a professional business way...) I wouldn't have had to ask.

if stage kits existed here in canada, which apparently they don't as they're as elusive as an invisible leprechaun.... I would certainly buy one and would be disappointed if it didn't work with beatles.

No, they are not Beatles fans, I am. WE are fans of the RB Experience. The Stage Kit makes the Experience far more enjoyable. Friends without the stage kit come over and play with it, then go out and buy it. People with the Wii version complain at me constantly that they cannot have this awesome experience. It does add that much more to the game. And without the support, it just doesn't feel as intense or fun!

And why would I get GH5? It doesn't support the stage Kit either. Or was that some attempt at being an RB Elitist?

if i were a betting man, i'd put money down that hmx will support the stage kit in the next version of RB. it works with all dlc, and as long as dlc keeps working in future games, i'd bet the stage kit would as well.

and for $30, the stage kit is a steal. takes the fun of RB to another level.
