    Dolby™ 'toggle' & 'bassboost' ?

My manual (Yes,I read them!) says: In audio/video options you can turn off/on Dolby™ II and "bassboost", but I do not have these options available in my (wii) copy of the game. Do any other folks have these options? I would LOVE a bassboost as I am a budding P Mc.

My only guess is that they copy/pasted most of the instruction manual between the 3 systems and this was left in on accident. I'm guessing its a 360/PS3 thing. I could be wrong though.

After having played abit(sic) now, I think the bass IS 'boosted'. Usually, these games' guitar is most prominent, but the bass is upped on this! Awesome! (not 4 mii neighbors) The page (6) in manual has Wii written on it 3 times and Dolby™ is on booklet/packaging too. I've always heard to turn it off anyways so the delay/lag won't be as bad. I always put my 7.1 on 'all ch stereo' with no problems. I guess I ain't missing either feature anyways. Thanks PS-Where is song 45?

I have these options on 360. I assume you'd have them on yours, but you might be looking in the wrong area. On the main menu go to Options I think...or Extra, then go to audio. Good luck.

I too was looking all over the 'Audio Settings' for the option to turn Dolby on or off and the 'Bass Boost', glad to know it wasn't just me. Weird that they aren't there, there should at least be an option to turn the Dolby on or off.

The Wii doesn't support Dolby Digital (5.1 sound), so that's why the option isn't there. I also think the Bass Boost option applies mainly to the .1 channel (can someone at Harmonix confirm this?), which explains its absence on the Wii.

No but it supports Dolby Pro-Logic II which is why I would've thought there would be an option to use it or not. I believe Rock Band 2 had that option. Still weird that it would be listed in the manual of the Wii version of the game.

Pro-Logic II is only a mixing algorithm on the sound processing side of things, and it uses the exact same bitstream as the stereo signal (which is why a "Pro-Logic" signal can always be "downmixed" to stereo). As far as I know, there would be no reason for a game to differentiate between the two. If the option is in RB2 for the Wii, I'd be interested to hear from Harmonix as to whether it actually does anything.
