Gretsch or Rickenbacker?

I'd have to go with the Gretch

Yeah, the Gretsch is awesome.

are they to scale, as the Hofner is?

They are not as tall as the Hofner.

The Gretsch is maybe an inch or two taller than the Rickenbacker, and the Hofner is another 2 to 3 inches taller than the Gretsch.

So the Rick is the shortest, followed by the Gretsch, and the Hofner tallest.

Like Goldilocks, I found the middle to be *just right*.
