Thread: mic delay?

    mic delay?

I got the game and started playing right away, and right away I noticed that my vocals were way off with the songs. like the mic wasn't picking up all of what is being sang. I tried to calibrate it and wow...way off now. Anyone have this problem, or know how to correct it. Thanks.

Didnt have the problem, but try calibrating with your guitar. What mic and system are you using?
It's not Harmonix fault that you shut ins don't have friends to do the harmonies with.

I'm using a mic from American Idol 2 game, playing on xbox 360. I did try the calibration with the guitar. I know I'm not a good singer, but I still want my crappy vocals to be in sync with the music...lol

I did the calibration with the guitar and the results were 30ms less delay than in RB2. I watch this closely, because I do a lot of parties at other places where the set up is considerably different.

I have the microsoft mic and have not been able to solve the echo, it only slight but I am still behind with my voice. And it sucks cuz I got 3 MS wireless mics.

I got the Beatles Rock Band value edition and I believe that the instruments packed with it were of the Rock Band 1 variety. The drums and guitar are fine, but the vocals are about a half a second delayed. I've calibrated using the drums, guitar and the PS3 joystick. Still the same result.

    Any help is appreciated.
