Singstar Mics cannot work with TB:RB on X360

Hi,

I bought this game under the assurance from the official site that Singstar mics do work with the game, but i’m having problems getting them to work properly on the x360.

Only the mic that is connected to the Mic 2 input of the singstar adapter works. The Mic 1 input seems to be dead to the game. What gives?

Is it because each mic needs it’s own separate USB line for the vocal track to be detected?

I really don’t want to buy a Logitech vantage mic as they cost $49.90 Singapore dollars or about $30 USD.

I think singstar is a PS3 exclusive and the mics will NOT work with the X360. LIPS mics will work with the X360 and NOT with the PS3.

Yeah, they do work with the PS3 game, the system for which they are used.

Just to clarify, since I don't know much about SingStar... does it matter if the mics are listed as being for the PS2? I've got the PS3 and a new RB setup... I'd love to get two more mics and these seem to be the cheapest way to go. I saw someone selling the pair of red and blue mics on Craigslist for $15...

Just to clarify, the wired Singstar mic should work on the 360, but only one will work (if I remember correctly, you have to use the blue connection). It is just like a regular USB mic and as you said each mic needs it’s own separate USB port.

Maybe if you had another one of those splitters that comes with the Singstar mics, you could use with the red mic (but still using the blue port). See if you can borrow it from a friend to try it out.

Sorry. I need a clarification. I want to know if the Singstar (Playstation 2) mics worked for the PS3 version of the game. Because right now we have just one mic and i think is cheaper buying these. Im talking about the wired microphones of course.

For the record, Lips mics work just fine with TB:RB. I played with two of them and a wired mic as the third. But they eat batteries like crazy.

PS2 singstar mics and PS3 singstar mics are one in the same.

gamestop has singstar mics for 10 bucks and i can confirm they both work for the harmonies

I can't get the LIPS mics to work in TB RB, what am I doing wrong?
