The backstory: being a huge and long-time Beatle fan, I was at first resistant to the TB: RB game coming out. Then, as I saw clips and ads, I started to get more and more excited about this game.
So, I decided to sell a few low-end guitars I have to fund the purchase of a Wii (I have an 8 year old daughter, whose friends also have Wii systems and more games on that would be ones whe would enjoy) and a way to get TB: RB game. For now, I was able to cobble together a good deal on a GH: WT controller for under $20 and a copy of the game for $40 through Micro Center.
Last night, after much pain of looking at the game sitting there being unplayed, the controller arrived in the mail!
I must say, this game is worth every penny I spent on it, and definitely will get more use than the couple guitars I sold to get the system and controller.
Now, it will be a matter of who will be using the Wii more: me or my daughter! My wife likes the system, but will probably come in third in playtime on the system.
But, I have to say that, so far, TB: RB has been the most enjoyable gaming experience I have ever had!
