I'd buy it, even if it doesn't have the best songs from some artists, and Slipknot.
Not removing this until we get some Sunn O)))
in which case this will be on for a while.

This is what I would get if it was DLC. Nice stuff here. Especially like your early metal choices (and I really like the Zep choice).

I didn't see Mercyful Fate, who influenced everybody from Metallica/Megadeth to modern black metal.

And I didn't see Bathory, who was probably the single biggest influence on the birth of black metal and viking metal.

Oh, and I didn't see Possessed, whose "Seven Churches" basically spawned modern death metal. If I could dig up Chuck Schuldiner and ask him about that album, he would concur.

Hmm, point taken about Mercyful Fate, what would you choose?

Bathory ended up being one of my final cuts, but along with Celtic Frost I choose Venom and Hellhammer in favor. Possessed, although mindful of them, was never put on the list because they were, to be honest, never that good and the Tampa Florida scene is kinda my specialty. I feel Kreator and Coroner both cover that thrash to almost death hybrid well enough and were both technically proficient. Your thoughts?
