How is it sad? She's truly in the sky with diamonds now.

That was originally going to be my whole post but then I realized that was being a jerk.
So yeah. I honestly never even knew there was human inspiration.

How sad, she was so young. I attached a picture of her I found that shows what she looked like now and back when she inspired Julian.

I started to write that "in the sky" line myself. I suspect many on here will find that to be their first inclination.

I just came here to post the story myself. I thought it was ironic since I was just reading about Lucy a couple of days ago from an old Lennon interview, but didn't know about her health problems. Sad indeed.

I was just thinking about her yesterday - the song was on and I remembered reading that Lucy had been very sick.

Sad to hear that she's gone. But yes, now she truly is in the sky with diamonds.
