    Calculation Theme
    IOU
    On a Slow Night

This was such a hard thing to do...

    Green Day - nimrod.

Haushinka - Easily my favorite song off the album. Catchy, and a really great song to listen to.
Nice Guys Finish Last - There's a reason why this was a single. Good fast-paced track and a great way to kick off an album.
Scattered - I love this song. It sounds like it would make for really good radio airplay, which leads me to ask why this wasn't a single?
Platypus (I Hate You) - The more punk side of Green Day. A big **** you to everyone. A fast-paced, energetic, heavy tune with some pretty hateful lyrics .
King For a Day - A song about being a crossdresser and has a ska-punk feel to it. Makes me think about John Drake and hmxhenry (respectively). Awesome sauce.
Hitchin' a Ride - I love the feel of this song. Heavy guitar, with a solo. Nice.
Prosthetic Head - Guitar starts pretty clean, with the bass louder in the mix, but then gets more distorted as the chorus kicks in. Also a pretty catchy tune, which is a +1
The Grouch - "I was a young boy who had big plans, now I'm just another ****ty old man." What a great way to start a song haha.
All the Time - Simple guitar riffs, with a catchy vocal part. That's Green Day for ya.
Jinx - Not as good as the song it leads into (Haushinka), but it still stands out as a standalone song. "I ****ed up again, it's all my fault". But this song isn't ****ed up! It's ****ing good!
Reject - Just missed the cut to be green. It's a fun song to listen to, but not as memorable as the others. But I'll say it has some great bass.
Take Back - Harsh vocals. I love this harder side of Green Day, but this song just doesn't have "it". They still need more harder songs.
Worry Rock - Meh. It's good, but a little too slow for my tastes.
Uptight - Cool song, but it really holds no memory value to me.
Walking Alone - I like the harmonica addition to this song, and it has a guitar solo! But this song doesn't really connect with me.
Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life) - Hey, I love this song. But it doesn't fit. At all. I know it wasn't meant to be, but still. Nice song to listen to, but just not on this album.
Redundant - No. I am not a big fan of this song. I like the chorus, but the rest is pretty bleh. Shouldn't have been a single. Switch it with Scattered, NOW.
Last Ride In - Instrumental. I like instrumentals, but this boring surf rock song doesn't fit without context. Use it for a movie or something.

Wow, that is EXACTLY how I would rank that album. Good on you. I wish "Haushinka" had been in GDRB, that would have been so much fun on the drums.

Call Me No One - Last Parade

    All's Well
    Last Parade
    Pleased To Meet You
    Soapbox

    You Surprise Me
    War Song
    Time Machine
    Biggest Fan

    Thunderbird
    Broken Record

    Hillbilly
    Whatever Happened

    The World Is Dead
    Intro

Pretty much the entire album is solid except "Intro/The World Is Dead" just because it's so repetitive that it gets old quickly. The lyrics are pretty much "the whole world is dead, the world is dead" and repeat that about 10 times. It's catchy at first, but then I find myself skipping it now. The album doesn't really kick into gear until "Soapbox", but it's very good.

Interesting to see the differing opinions. Overall i feel NOTW is one of SSPU's strongest albums and "Out of Breath" may be my new favorite SSPU song.
