I honestly feel that ANY songs taken from Are You Experienced?, Axis: Bold As Love & Electric Ladyland should be credited to The Jimi Hendrix Experience.
May 20th, 2012: 4 long years since HMX released "Hysteria" by Muse. The wait for more Muse DLC has to end at some point, right?

It does to people who are big fans of the band. They didn't credit The Beatles songs written by Lennon as "John Lennon" did they?

Depends if they take it from the original album, or if they take it from a Jimi Hendrix greatest hits or something. Like what happened with Janis Joplin, they took the track from her greatest hits, and credited to her instead of Big Brother and the Holding Company. Even though it was the exact same track. (funny how when you sort by decade Piece of My Heart shows up in the 60's instead of the 70's as it's listed in the song data)

It's only important to the anal retentive. For the rest of the free world, we don't give a rat's ass. If you decide whether or not to purchase a game because of how a song is credited, you are screwing yourself out of a great experience. No pun intended.

The press release credits "Jimi Hendrix"

Not sure if there's ever been discrepancy between the pre-game listing and the game itself, but that's what we know

Well honestly, I doubt we will get it from the studio album. The album was made with 4 tracks and you saw how The Beatles also were on 4 but we had Abbey Road engineers to split up the audio so that was expensive.

    We shall see...
I may have helped bring Rust in Peace to Rock Band.
