The new site - issues and the like

sean..I've linked my account to my gamertag, my info/pic shows up for the rocker section, but my band is not showing up(I am the band leader, the name is Seven N1pple Theory)

So, I recently came back after the changes and when I log on it shows someone else's info and I can't even edit my own profile. I also can't link my game to the site....so this is all kinda frustrating....any advice/any help from Harmonix? Anything? Help?

There isn't many of us in this week but I am forwarding these concerns on to the team to look at and see if they can clear up. Thanks for being patient with us while we try to sort a few things out over the holidays.

Maybe I am doing something wrong, but whenever I click on the "go to xbox live linking page," it says "this gamertag does not have a windows live id linked to it," or something like that, and takes me back to the same page, DESPITE the fact that I never even get a prompt to TYPE IN my gamertag!

Clear your browser's cache and cookies before attempting to link - especially if you are on a shared computer. If someone else who used the computer earlier that day logged into their hotmail account or something like that that is tied to a Windows Live ID then that is what it already thinks you are logged in as.

I tried that, and once I put my Windows live ID, It still says I don't have any rock band memory associated with my GT.

Is your gamertag associated with a windows live ID, through your gamertag settings? That sounds weird?

for those of you who are having trouble because you didn't get an email, check your bulk or junk mail folders, because the password email got sent to my junk mail folder when it came.

Why is it that we still can't view other members profiles?
It says we don't have the permissions.
I'm not sure how I can make anyone my friend without viewing their profile...or why we even need profiles if no one can view them.

Also I'm kinda sad that only 1 person can be linked to an account.

Yes, it's very weird, and lots of us are having this same problem. Doesn't matter if you clear cache, cookies, or use another machine, it's almost like the Gamertag doesn't have Rock Band data associated with it. But, we appear fine on the Rock Band Leaderboards correctly and the Gamertag email is what we're signing up with.

I just played Rock Band solo tour for a while as well as a few quick match score games online. When I try to link my account I get this message:

This gamertag does not have any Rock Band data associated with it. Please try again. If you continue to have problems, please read the detailed instructions on the Link to Game page.

I cleared all my private data in FireFox and tried again and no matter what I get the same issue.

I double checked on my Xbox under My Account to make sure I had the right email address (Live ID). It's the same one I use to login to www.xbox.com as well.
