Yes, a Blue Cheer thread. Yes, it's official.

For those of you who know who Blue Cheer are, you are awesome. If you don't, start listening.

Blue Cheer has a bunch of great songs for Rock Band, and that's just talking their first album. Here's some of their best from the first two albums:

I would buy the entire Vincebus Eruptum album and then some - the prototypical stoner metal band. Blue Cheer is a must.

Blue Cheer and other bands like them from the 1960s are sorely needed! These '60s bands are where a lot of inspiration seems to have come from.
