Not bad, but since you have less than 10 bands in a top 25 list and those are pretty much only the most mainstream of prog bands, I can't help but think you might want to consider exploring the genre a bit more.

I have to agree with Lex here, I'm love quite a few of those albums you have up there but I would check out some more of the genre. Mindcrime 2 doesn't belong there, that album was mediocre at best. the first one is also great but I don't believe it deserves the #2 spot.

They actually did a live album with Operation Mindcrime and OM2 as one long suite... It is the best version of Mindcrime 2, the live version. Seems the songs live were buoyed by the performance of the first album.

I went to that show when they came to Belgium, and I have to admit that OM2 sounds a LOT better live. Especially since its better suited to Tate's current singing ability (he isn't always able to hit the high notes on OM1 anymore). I'm still not too fond of OM2 as a normal album (or of anything Queensrÿche has done after Promised Land, actually), but live it's really solid.

Operation Mindcrime II was not that great and 4 Dream Theater albums? And one being probably one of the less great efforts being Octavarium. The actual list is good, but I just don't agree with the order you put them in.

And you completely left out Fates Warning which are considered by many (Dream Theater themselves have said this) that they are the first ever Prog metal band. Listen to some Parallels or No Exit and you'll hear that they deserve a place on any Prog list.

I love Queensryche, but I HATE O:MC II.

Bolded have me confused why they are there since they are either not Prog. or should not be on the list instead of another album by that artist (Kansas)

fixed

Why is there only mainstream Prog. bands on the list and almost nothing modern like Ayreon, Spock's Beard, Porcupine Tree, or Transatlantic?

Just from the 00s I can name at least 10 albums that are some of the greatest of all time (kinda reminds me I need to start one of those for the 90s)
