    Forgive me as I only read the first page of this thread, but how does the "history" of the making of Chinese Democracy make it an "iconic" or "classic" album?

    So because Guns and Roses couldn't get their crap together for how many years that makes it "iconic"? I'm sorry I don't care what they did in the 80's-90's its 2009. Chinese Democracy is a joke.

    Again, this is purely opinion.

    Chinese Democracy is far from a classic album. I downloaded most of the songs and like them, but they pale in comparison to any of GNR's earlier works. I hope we see some REAL GNR down the road. Either a best of pack or even the double albums being released.

    We downloaded all of No Doubt's songs which was a greatest hits. Classic or not, the drumming is some of my wife's favorite to do.
