DON'T MAKE IT SO!!!! we don't need U2 RB
Re-buying lost DLC. Good # of songs with Lego export, soon to re-export RB1, Green Day soon. Yeah, I got things covered.
IMO, there are MANY more bands deserving of their own game than U2.
Yeah, I honestly see Harmonix LOSING money if they made this..
I play everything on Expert, I have no life
DLC:
[x] Gorillaz
[] More Coheed and Cambria
[] Mindless Self Indulgence
[] Mushroomhead
No, depends on how much you pay for the licensing. They don't have to put the extra work like they did for the beatles dreamscapes because unlike the beatles their stuff is all able to be played live. There are enough u2 fans out there just not the hardcore music game type. Easily more than van halen and areosmith in terms of relevancy.

Hahaha; the U2 fan base is the kind of people that go nuts over apple products; they are ven more casual then casual gamers that picked up Rock Band.
Think about it; the Beatles ( I don't like them, I can appreciate how good the game is tough, it's just the right difficulty and not over inflated, it's artistic too) are a league of their own, most of it has to do with them being the first to ever do things in music a certain way.
With Queen you have the greatest frontman/swinger/composer ever. HAnds down, and anicely rounded group too. Taylor, May and Deacon sung. Queen was the first band to tour Latin America. In their time they got caught in the in between of shifting popularity among genres. But their music has stood the test of time. Classic.
Aerosmith, you might like it or not; has tons more material that lends itself to a game engine. Tons upon tons of hits, an iconic agrupation even tough you can only name Steven and Joe; and that dude that plays the other guitar.
Aside from those, just for the business: KISS. They'd do it. They'd have more loyal fans ready to jump on a game of that caliber than U2 will ever dream to have.
Not number of professed fans, but fans hardcore enough to pay upfront for some different way to experience KISS. Again, a metric ton of classic hits that would be awesome to play.
People have complained about Beatles being too easy on all instruments, and not enough of a challenge. I'm pretty sure a U2 game would be terribly difficult in vocals and guitar, and almost impossible to pass on drums and bass.
Go ahead, list 50+ songs by U2 to justify a career mode in cronological order. Name the highlights of such career mode. A U2 game that would lead us through their meteoric rise to fame, and the tribulations of Bono when he found out he had too much time and money in his hands. Tell us, of all the important and world shattering, history changing concerts U2 has given, that remain ingrained in the collective memory to this very day.
I know the first thing I thought after listening to U2 music was "yeah, surely when I grow up, I want to sing like Bono, or play guitar like The Edge."
Wut.
I think U2 more than deserves their own game due to sales and fans. I'm not their biggest fan, but I'd love to play a game made of their music. They're not the band I'd want to see most, but I definately think the star power is there and the sales could be as well.
