Wrong. You said nobody YOU knew liked them, so therefore it was a bad idea. Ego much?

And my claim remains, there are millions of people you DON'T know, you know like the 97000 who packed the rose bowl to see them a few months ago? Therefore, I hope Harmonix, when deciding to go ahead with this game, don't ask themselves. "Well gee, we should ask Kariodude what he thinks".

They have a huge collection of big hits and was a mianstay on mtv with their videos when mtv still showed videos. Also the radio loves u2 and they have had a ton of hits on there, and have sold out countless concert venues.

Not a huge u2 fan, but don't hate them either, love all the hits, hopefully we get a whole bunch of them, with some b side hits thrown in too and it is exportable.

I will buy any rock band band game as long as it is exportable, if not, then not interested. As it stands, my beatles game just sits there anymore because no one wants to play the same band over and over again.

Hopefully with the PM songs coming to rock band, they might see the potential of later on exporting the beatles songs to rb3. I really hope so.

I'm sorry, I guess that joke was lost on you. People say something like what I said in every thread when people mention a Band X: Rock Band idea. Normally though, the thread is detailed but the point the person is making is the same. They don't like the band so they think it's a bad idea. That's just a terrible way to look at anything.

I'm a big U2 fan. Not rabid, but big. Have all the albums and have been to a couple of concerts.

I'm a big RB fan. I've probably spent well over $1000 on the game and various packs/DLC/instruments.

I personally would buy every single DLC content U2 song put out. I would buy a release like the AC/DC game/pack the day it came out. Exportable content is KEY. I'd spend hundreds of dollars this way and not think twice.

No exportable content? A game like the Beatles? Doesn't get one cent from me.
why copy/paste the same post twice?

also, you have no credibility whatsoever,
if you're truly a big fan like you say, and would buy every dlc from them, then i dont see why you would not buy a game from them...
especially since its cheaper that way.

To me the only other group that would be on the Beatles level would be The Rolling Stones - they may even have a larger fan base than the Bealtes since they are still around today. Imagine the DLC with them - awesome!! They have a great cataloge of songs and the DLC would last aeven longer for this game. At least the Stones deserve a AC/DC type track pack.

Ah. Very good then....this place has become flooded with such types of late, where only THEIR taste in music matters, so it is natural to assume from your post you felt the same. The joke was lost on me then, and I apologize. Rock on brother.

And even though I don't particularly like U2, I'm a Rock Band whore and would buy the game anyway which might even make me like them. The Beatles were really just a band I sort of liked and heard a couple of their songs. The game came out, now I'm hooked.

That's pretty awesome. It's no argument this game opens you up to so much great music you might never hear otherwise. To me, this is THE way to experience music (other than live of course) nowadays. Real or not, actively putting yourself in there is much more enlightening than passively listening. You just hear so much more when "playing" it.
