    ~Rock Band Forums Top 100 Beatles Songs~

Read the directions! You do not need to come up with 100 songs!!!! Only 25!!!!

I was recently reading a magazine, which expressed what they believed to be the 50 best Beatles songs. It was a pretty good list, including some of the deeper cuts which surprised me, but I'd really like to see what the community here thinks. This is how all of this will work.

    1. Members will send a member of the team (will get to that) their list. This list will include 5 tiers. Each tier will include 5 songs, so 25 total songs each person will pick. Each song in the first tier will be worth 10 points, and each tier below will be worth one point less, making the fifth tier songs worth 6 points.

    2. Team members will add up points from the people's lists and eventually add up the final scores. The song with the most points will obviously be number 1.

    3. Comments may be made by members about songs. You can add a small snippet to some song choices, and a team member will read them. If they find it particularly powerful, witty, etc., we'll add it to the final list of songs, and of course credit you.

    4. Please email your lists to top100beatlessongs@gmail.com. If for some reason you can't use email, feel free to PM me your list and I will gladly add it.

Could use some more when, and if, it gets more popular.

I really hope this turns out well, as I think it could be a lot of fun and it'd be great to have a list containing the opinions of all of the community.

    Side note...

Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End should be placed as one song.

HMX, I love you. You introduced me to my favorite band, The Beatles. And now you're making a game for my first favorite, Green Day. Thank you so much

I'd like to volunteer. Wouldn't it be good if we created an e-mail only to receive votes? Like this: top100beatlessongs@gmail.com, for example.

And then every team member would be able to access it.

Hm... That probably would be good. Did you already create it? Also, though, how will we know which member is keeping track of which email?

    No, I didnt create it.

But if the e-mail is read, we'll know it was counted already. To avoid confusion, we should update the score regularly and say which e-mail the score came from. For example.

    -Insert song ranking here-"

So, where will the team members be able to see the updated score? I don't want it to be public, as that would influence the opinions. If public is the only way though, I guess.

Maybe we could just send an e-mail to ourselves like this:

Subject: Updated ranking with votes from x, y and z.

    -insert ranking here-

Then we would know when was the last time someone updated.

EDIT: I made it. It's top100beatlessongs@gmail.com and I'll PM you the password.

Nah, there's only one team. The team reviews the people's decisions. Everybody else simply make lists on their own.

Thanks, that should be useful. Could you PM me the password?

Also, us three should make lists now, so we don't interfere with the other people's choices.
