Not really. that would make things far too complicated to try and fit 4 note highways on one screen. not to mention the limit of controllers allowed to be connected.

I do think it's a shame, I was looking forward to having 3 guitars plus drums in action together. I can understand the screen would get too cluttered though. I will still collect all the replica guitars, though that is difficult considering I am in Australia and they aren't available here! My Rickenbacker should arrive tomorrow, so along with the bass and drums should make a full game playing experience. Just in time for Abbey Road too, which will hopefully be out tomorrow.

played 4 guitars on GH5 and its not too cluttered.

i guess it depends on the TV. ive played 1 note highway on a small tv and it sucked. but 4 note highways on a big tv was no problems.

Seriously? Because you thought you could play rhythm, lead, and bass, or because you thought you could have three guitarists like in Guitar Hero?

I think we need to do a little more research before we buy games like Rock Band.

Even if you could have 3 guitarists, you wouldn't be able to connect every controller if you wanted a full band. You can't have more than 4 controllers connected to the same console at once, so one of the instruments will be forced to sit out (or rather, not be connected at all).
