Thread: RBS/RBA files?

    RBS/RBA files?

    I was trying to audition a track and it says I need one of these files. What is it exactly and how can i get one?\

    different problem, it errors and says Only 1 type of midi file supported, this file is type 0...

    This file is the authored Rock Band track compiled together and ready to be auditioned. To make this file, you have to select "Build" in Magma before you select "Audition".

    You have to tell Magma the format of your drum mix stems (since there are several supported configurations).

    Go to this page: http://creators.rockband.com/spec/Drum_Authoring

    and scroll down toward the bottom and look for the "Drum Mix Events" section. It will explain.

    is there an easy way to convert a mp3 or wma to a midi file?

    No, and it wouldn't produce the kind of MIDI file that can be used by Magma anyway.
