alien abduction! *spoilers*

this was the funniest cutscene I have seen so far in the game! the aliens took our bassist (who is generally considered kind of an eccentric, so it made perfect sense) and then of all things to see on the spaceship:

freddie mercury! ahahahaha! and the way the rest of the band laughed at him when he tried to tell them what happened. classic lego humor!

Even funnier is the name that scene is given when you choose to replay the cutscene in the tv. - Not going to spoil it, but go to the TV in the den and check out what it is called.

yeah really. that's like going to a forum for a book and making a thread called "The main character dies at the end of the book *spoilers*" with the thread content being "he gets shot with a gun". Not that I really care or anything, I just found that a little funny.

This scene is the best thing I've ever seen in a game.

And the thread title isn't a spoiler, because the alien abduction itself isn't the awesome part...it's what happens on board.

I love that the humor found in other lego games remains intact here. I also think the challenges (action sequences) in this game could be implemented into rock band 3. I think they're very neat and clever. it would take a bit more motion capturing to pull off, but I think the payoff would be HUGE.
