When you play Bowie songs or the Iggy Pop song, your characters all get replaced by specific Lego versions of RB2 characters (Maynard, Grace, and Moosejaw, I believe). What's up with that? I'd prefer to still play as my own guitarist when playing a Bowie song, you know? I kind of understand it when it first pops up in story mode, since the event description seems to imply that Bowie did not play with your story mode band, but it seems like in Free Play I should be able to choose my own characters. It's not like Queen where you're actually playing as the band, these are just seemingly arbitrary Rock Band characters. They aren't even Bowie-inspired custom characters.

I'm sure plenty of people will post just to say "why do you care?" And I don't really care that much, it's just weird. Wondering why it happens.
