Coincidence might have been the better word to use here, yes. The sexual preferences of artists, just like their race, have always been completely irrelevant to whether their songs get added to Rock Band or not. It's neither a reason to add the songs, nor a reason to bar songs from the game. The only thing that matters for the song selection is the music itself, and the only thing all artists you mention truly have in common that got them added to the game is that they have left a mark on rock music history.
