I had a two song set with Dig and Check Yes Juliet. Then right after I finish the set, another two song set appeared. This time it was Check Yes Juliet then Dig. Um.. Ok.. Way too little songs in the beginning.

I really don't understand why some of the songs I've downloaded do not show up on LRB. They seem to be family friendly but I don't know.

I really like Lego Rock Band. It's funny, adds some new features to the game (showing your performance percentage and your streak after each song in a multiple set) and the setlist is very decent. I think it was designed as a stand alone game pretty much like The Beatles:Rock Band was. The lack of online does bring it down a bit but considering the rating and that it is family friendly I can understand the logic behind that decision. Overall it's a good game. No real complaints here.

The game is great for it's target players. My 5 year old daughter loves it to no end.
If you are not a child, I would think you would be just buying it for the export...in which case there are not that many songs and probably only 20 at most that I would personally want. But that is not why we got the game. We got the game to play as a family and to have the ability for kids to play without adult supervison...which is possible due to the filters, lack on online play, etc...
I also like the hints into the neat added features you will be getting with RB3 (like make an album and a few others)
Again, the game is a 10 for what it was designed for imo.

I'd have to say I was disappointed. I gave it a 6/10. It's not a bad game, but just way too many questionable design decisions and watering down for my tastes. Maybe I was expecting just a little bit too much out of this game.

The character customization features were a huge let down. The omission of face paint and skin tone adjustments made me eventually ignore customizing my bandmates. Plus, there's really no point in making individual characters.

The setlist is just lame. I wanted to like these unknown songs, but for the most part, they just stunk. I'd rather my kid listen to the more explicit lyrics in the "real music" in RB1 and RB2.

The mystery sets seemed to cycle Dig, Check Yes Juliet, and Ghostbusters like everyone else. I actually liked Dig, until playing it 5 times in less than an hour. I did get a Roy Orbison song once, but the random song feature is broken.

The export is way too expensive for a bulk download...for $10, I rather cut the crap out and just pick my 20 songs worth playing. I'm actually skipping the song export, as I can't bear to play Check Yes Juliet again, and I'm starting to get my fill on Ghostbusters.

The game was fun, but man, those little things it does wrong just keep adding up. I know this game was meant for kids, but, it really wouldn't have been that hard to make this game better. It just doesn't live up to my expectations.

From what i have played of it i am enjoying it. I dont care to much about online play as i never play online as it is.

Am enjoying playing my way through it and seeing what all goodies can unlock

Its fun and thats the main thing

** Lets hope we get the closets back, as redoing all the art, colours on clothes/instruments is annoying for all your characters **

My biggest disappointment was when I got to the castle rock power event, and had to defend it from the troll army

...and my song was "So What". Blah. What an awful choice.

Almost made that dragon at the end less badass.

Secondary disappointment is no Spongebob songs were added, Goofy Goober Rock is still being more elusive than it should be.

Similiar things happened in RB1/RB2's tour. The only difference is you weren't prompted with the option of going straight to that set.

Remember the "All Town Songs" sets?

I spent that entire scene mostly pondering how much better it could've been with Warriors Of Time (DLC).

Might explain why the Ultimate Shwo on Earth decided I needed to play that in the randoms (along with Rude Mood and Constant Motion)

I tried to play with my five year old, and he was NOT feeling it (other than the Spongebob songs I'd previously downloaded and We Will Rock You).

I took it to a party with a bunch of 5-12 year olds and it was a mega, MEGA hit. The kids did NOT want to leave the room... and they unlocked a bunch of stuff for me in the Tour.

I gave it an 8. Big thumbs up... unless you happen to be my son.
