Replacing Guitar MIDI

Hey, I have finished the midi track for the guitar part but no other instruments. Is there any way to open the RBN Template, but replace the pre-loaded guitar track with mine so I can put the finishing touches on it (overdrive, HOPS ect...)? If so, can you tell me how please.

Goto 'file,Spawn new instance of reaper' Open the template,Delete the guitar midi,Go back to your song,Rick click and hit copy...Go into the other project and paste it.

but now whenever i double-click to open up the editor, it opens up the standard one (with the keyboard on the left) not the Rock Band one.

in the window.. click on "View". then select "Mode: named notes"
