Announcing it this Friday seems suspiciously late for a Beatles announcement. I honestly expected an announcement for the release date at the beginning of the month. The 17th was the date I was going with originally, but now the 24th also seems very likely to be it. But it doesn't matter much to me... (as long as we get it this month)

My concern is if the server issues have kept them from announcing this. I went to the music store inside the game and was told I could not connect. I am wondering if this is related. I hope not, and I hope the release is next week.

I hope it's next Tuesday.... almost everyone online is assuming it will be then, I'll be very disappointed if it's not. I keep track of the time left my whole day, which keeps me on my feet and tells me it's not too far away. Another week added to that would be pain to my heart.

The AFI Pack coming out next week also adds fuel to my fire. When Abbey Road came out, Queen came out with a pack (thanks again Harmonix). So, maybe when every album comes out, a band comes out with a pack of about 5 to 10 songs.

If it comes out on the 17th I'll scream, since that's when Assassin's Creed 2 AND L4D2 come out, and it's already hard enough picking between the two.

They announced it at an event. I'm sure it will be in the Zine tomorrow. If I can find a link I'll post it but I can't remember where I saw it.

The event is talked about in that thread and they mention the album several times as being played "over a week before it's released" so I'm sure if you keep looking there the actual date is mentioned.

So it must be for next week, good thing! I can't wait for it, but I need the Game first.

Great news if it's next week, because it means Rubber Soul could be available on the 15/17th of December. I've got a big Beatles RB party on the 19th and I'm counting on it

Yea, it has to be the 17th. If it was the 24th, they would say "over two weeks" to make it sound more exclusive. Also, if they have these songs ready, there's really no reason to stall it all the way until the 24th.
