Can you unlock the monkey and cow costumes?

yes. You unlock those costumes (as alien disguise minifigs) in the last few venues, in space

I'm pretty sure I unlocked the monkey one after one of the zoo gigs.

Since there's uh, to avoid spoilers, an alternate version of them later on that you can unlock, I'd assume so.

That's good. I was rather irritated when playing as the cows at the farm, only to discover that finishing the farm didn't yield the costume.

I'll keep pressing on then.

I know it would've been tough, but I was hoping that when you had certain costumes like that...it would keep the same head and instrument but put the rest of the clothes around that.
