Did anyone else get that??? As far as I am concerned "while supplies last" means until ALL you have is gone...no where did I read they would have Rock Band for sale but to the first (insert number) people it would be free....so when I went in and seen they still had boxes of games available I went and made a purchase only to find out at the register "no no, those ones aren't free...those are for sale"

THAT is false advertising! Because you advertised while supplies last and there was STILL supplies...so technically the wrist bands were limited...not the game!
I'm sorry, but did you REALLY post this? Do you expect a company to give away EVERY copy they have for free?

I should add that I (like many) assumed that they would not be doing this so I got there early and got my free L:RB...

If I were in Best buy then of course I wouldn't expect that, but I was in a clothing store that has NO reason for selling a video game...how does ANY of us know that Rock Band gave every store 200 to give away but then only gave away a dozen and pocketed the rest of the money...

Listen, I have NO problem not getting a game because the supply was gone but to see the supply in a clothing store that would have no other reason to have games in the store besides what they advertised is not right! I seen the games, the greeter said yes they still have them...I went and made purchases, stood in line them BLAMO not for free....they NEVER advertised they would be selling the game there...not once...only that it would be free while supplies lasted....there was still supplies....it should have been free.

Is a clothing store also prepared for returns and exchanges if the game doesn't work? Come on people...that was pure trickery

    You are mistaken.

And the free L:RB info was in the Old Navy ad. On the back page. At the bottom. Always read the fine print.

And come to think of it there was info about buying the game(s) in the Old Navy ad too.

Edit: Didn't see your post count. Have a nice day Trolly McTrollerson.

This is what I was specifically looking for thank you!
"New York, NY – November 25, 2009 – MTV Games, a part of Viacom’s MTV Networks (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), is set to make holiday shopping fun for the entire family by offering in-store Rock Band™ game play kiosks, Rock Band merchandise and special promotions at Old Navy stores."

None of the information I could find said that...only the *while supplies last*

I still think it's a tricky way to get people in your store...that is why I joined this forum...I wanted to see if it was only the store I was in or was it store wide...
