Agreed. You don't even need 4 people total. I did it with 2. Super Easy all instruments and We Will Rock You. I played bass plus drums (controller sat on my lap, I strummed with one hand, hit drums with other hand), one person played guitar, and the vocals played themselves (super easy counts as all talkies, and the mic picked up the vibrations of the music through the mic stand).

I've got a few more achievements to get. Finished the storyline. Need to go back and re-start the game so I can unlock the 3rd vehicle - never got that achievement (Wife was signed in as me and singing and had dropped out when I bought the boat so the achievement did not happen.) Might not bother.
Still have to do the 15/30 song setlists as well as the play every gig achievement and the 1k stars achievement. However, my motivation for doing these, since my DLC is not available, is pretty low. So I'm looking for cheap ways to do them. (Question ; Since the game is "no-fail", can you just start the setlist, wander off and come back a few hours later to your newly minted achievement?)
Not good enough to do TFC100% achievement so I won't even try. (80% is an achievement for me there, kthxla~) Probably not going to bother telling three RL friends that we have to play to get 100% total as a band, since that seems stupid. So I'm pretty close to finished at this point.
Dragon Age is sucking me in anyways.
Anybody who lives near me never plays Rock Band, I can't get trophies/achievements that involve a full band.
I've gotten it by myself. Set all instruments to super easy, put mic by speaker be a human pendulum with the rest of your instruments. Remember on super easy you only need to stum (no fret) and you don't have to play the bass notes but can use the bass pedal to play the actual notes. And you can't fail!I just held a constant beat with my foot on the footpedal, steady beat with my left hand on bass strum bar, and played to the notes with my right hand on the guitar strum bar.

This game is probably going to be harder for me to get the 1000/1000 than any other Rock Band game, just due to the Final Countdown achievement. The best I've done so far is 90%, and it is going to take a looooooooooooot of practice for me to get good enough to do that consistently.
As for the others, I'm still missing 100% full band, finish all gigs, Rock Marathon, and Endless Setlist. Other than that, I've got them all. I intend to get them all one day, but that Final Countdown one is going to take a long time.
As for Beatles, I'm only missing the vocal harmonies ones (almost there!) and the Band Unison one (just haven't got around to it). Those aer much more attainable.
Own and beat all DLC (and on-disc songs - RB1 & 2) on Expert guitar, drums, and vocals. (except five songs on drums)

For getting the 100% as a band...I have read conflicting reports that you can/cannot use the kick pedal.
I am trying to get one-man-band this but am having difficulty getting the toe-tapping on the button correctly. If I can just press the pedal that'd make things infiniately easier.

You absolutely cannot use the pedal to count towards hitting the drum pads. Tried it. You can use the pads to hit the pedal.
