I played A Day In The Life on drums on full volume on my TV when nobody was home. All I have to say is, you have to try it. It's amazing.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way! I am so used to listening to the whole album at once, and so used to hearing the opening of "Lovely Rita" right after "When I'm Sixty-Four"

I hope they realize that the more albums they release, the more we will beg for all of them lol. Because these are just fantastic. Ever since this has been released, it's seriously been the only console game I care to play. It's just so beautiful, and so well done. This album has some great charting to it and of course some really fun songs to experience. And the end of A Day in the Life is just perfect.

To anyone who has participated in the making of this game and visits these forums, THANK YOU. You have truly made something that will stand the test of time and be appreciated by people for years to come. And I can't imagine what this game could be if we really do get close to, if not a full discography. A video game encyclopedia of The Beatles would be a special thing.

Sgt Pepper really suprised me with how much fun it was. And incredible. I was blown away by shes leaving home, loevly rita, Within you without you, being for the beneft of mr kite, and obivously a day in the life. Playing that song is such an experience, i played it on guitar and vocals the first time and got chills singing the first line.

To watch A Day In The Life is watching a piece of beauty unfold.

Looking at it again, the most striking moment in the dreamscape are the orchestral bulidups. As the instruments crescendo and the visuals become more abstract, you get the sense that you and The Beatles are locked in a slow and mutual possession by the music that is being created. That, among many other reasons, is why this game is a work of art.

Sorry if I sound pretentious or fancy but I felt like writing it down.

You describe it very well: I've never experienced anything quite like it in any other game (of course, there's only one "Day in the Life"). The crescendos feel like you're swept up in a storm...like you're desperately swimming upstream or climbing a ladder in the middle of chaos...It's amazing. I'd pick the final crescendo as the most involving, emotional moment in any music game, ever. Maybe in any game of any genre.
