Rock Band Bar Night Sign Up Contest! Win DLC and other prizes!

Hey gang,

Do you think your local bar should be hosting Rock Band Bar Nights? Well so do we! You can help us spread the word about Rock Band Bar Nights and we are willing to reward you for your hard work, starting with offering you a free DLC just for participating.

You can earn points by giving us information on bars in your area that you think should be hosting Rock Band Bar Nights. If you get a bar to sign up for the program and mention your name then you get even more points. The people with the most points at the end of this contest will get awesome Rock Band prizes. AND each person that participates (i.e. earns at least 1 point) will receive a free Rock Band DLC track (Xbox & PS3 only). All you need to do is go to the same RB nights that you're already going to, and you can win stuff. Pretty easy, right? To help you spread the word we even created this awesome flyer for you to print out and give to all of your favorite watering holes.

There's three different ways to earn points. Here's how it works:

Earn one (1) point for each bar you recommend to us for a maximum of ten (10) possible points.

Earn three (3) points for each bar you recommend to us that is accompanied with an accurate contact name (i.e., the bar manager or owner) and contact information, including, a valid phone number and/or email address for a maximum of thirty (30) possible points.

Earn ten (10) points for each bar that signs up to the Rock Band Bar Nights program and becomes an Authorized bar AND lists your name in the “How did you year about us?” field of the program registration form. There is no maximum limit. You can earn an unlimited number of points. Just make sure the bar you recommend remembers your name and lists it if they sign up to the program.

So what can you win?

1 Grand Prize = The Beatles: Rock Band LE Bundle & Gretsch Guitar (Xbox , PS3 and Wii)
2 2nd Prizes = Ion Drum Rocker (Xbox only)
2 3rd Prizes = Fender Wooden Stratocaster (Xbox only)
10 4th Prizes = TB:RB Stand Alone Guitar (Gretsch or Rickenbacker – Xbox only)

How do you enter? Send an email to rockbandbarnights@mtv.com with the venue information and we'll keep track of the points you earn. You MUST include the following sentence your email to be eligible for points as well as the information listed below:

1. The contest starts today and goes until Friday, December 18th. All entries (emails) must be received by 11:59pm ET on December 18, 2009.
2. You must be 21 years or older to enter in this contest. Sorry guys but because this has to do with going into bars we had to make it 21+
3. The DLC is limited to one per person regardless of how many times you enter. If you enter multiple times or provide us with multiple bars you will be able to earn more points but you will only get one DLC

Our local bar had a buddy and I sign them up a couple weeks ago. We are hosting the first Friday, November 27, 2009. I'm wondering if we already signed up if I can still earn the 10 points, it would be cool to get some more songs for the patrons to play.

We are a family of serious Rock Band addicts who got a wild hair a few months ago to actively seek out others to join in our addiction by putting together a Rock Band Night at one of our local bars. Now we are official members Rock Band bar Night Program, have booked our 2nd bar and are talking with two others. So our evil plot is working, and Game Stop loves us!
Not sure where we fit with the requirements of the contest, but would love to have a chance at any of the goodies!
