This was on the american release and it's actually one of my top Beatles songs. From the list it doesn't appear that it's on the DLC album. What up with that?

You're talking about the Rubber Soul DLC right? All the albums are based on the UK releases of the album. I've Just Seen a Face was on the UK release of Help!, not Rubber Soul.
The official albums as of now are what were the 13 UK albums, MMT, and Past Masters. No one uses the "american releases".
EDIT: Double ninja'd
Because Apple's been going by the British releases since the 80's. Therefore, we won't get "I've Just Seen A Face" until we get Help! DLC

The only Beatles album that is released in its american version is Magical Mystery Tour.
"Penny Lane is in my ears and in my eyes"
I'd imagine it's the same reason Eight Days a Week isn't listed as being from Beatles VI. Or why I Feel Fine isn't listed under Beatles '65. Or why none of these albums are available on CD outside of the Capitol box sets from a few years ago.
The only song that will only ever be credited as coming from a US Beatles record would be Bad Boy, witch would be listed as coming from Beatles VI or A Collection of Beatles Oldies (But Goldies!)
