A friend of mine in Australia had no problems redeeming his code for the 360. Mine's still broken. This is ridculous.

I hope they're right when they said the already used codes *should* work when it's fixed.

One thing did occur to me though. If I did this on a PC, how would the "token" (or export key) get onto my PS3... I should've used the PS3's browser. But, no, that doesn't work either (just incase you're wondering).

what you do is put that code into the website and theyll give you a code to put into the ps3.

I'm also in Graffin's exact situation. Just got it today in Sydney on my PS3.
I'm now waiting to see what happens over the next few days with this token problem.
I hope it gets sorted out soon. I'm hoping I won't need to join the complaint que shortly.

Thanks for the heads up Graffin.

Please let us know how things go.

Yep, it's an absolute farce how this export code issue is being handled. I essentially purchased Lego Rock Band as an (premium-priced) track pack... for the sole purpose of exporting these songs to my HDD to play on Rock Band. And I can't even do that now.

Yet another slap in the face to Australians who continue to support the Rock Band franchise. It's a damn shame because they (Harmonix/EA/Whoevers-in-charge) could so easily drive Rock Band to overtake Guitar Hero as the top music game platform in Australia. It's a pity that the care and dilligence that goes into making the Rock Band game is totally undone by the people who make decisions on the business side of things.

Got another email today from support asking me to scan a copy of a pile of stuff (code, cd, manual, receipt, gamertag, first born child) and email it back to them. I'm going to organise it tonight but would much rather prefer they just fix the stupid code system.

I agree with doctordray, it appears HMX are doing everything they can to ensure that Guitar Hero is the brand of choice for Australia, kind of a shame considering Alex R has family down here and they can't even BUY Rock Band 2 without shady importing.

I'm from the U.S., and my xbox export code does not work either straight out of the packaging.

I sent them an email and threatened to sue them for $500,000 just to get their attention.

Same here. I received an email asking me to send them a scan of the receipt, packaging, leaflet and game disc to prove it was bought brand new and not a rental copy.

I'm hoping the code system is fixed soon (like the guy I spoke with on the phone said it would be).

I agree. If HMX (or whoever's responsible) didn't jerk us around and released RB2 (and its instruments) here when they did in the UK, then they would've killed off GH's sales.

This is a joke. We don't have RB2 here (well, I imported mine from the UK which works perfectly with my DLC). We don't have access to the Export Key (at least not on the AU PSN Store). Now, we can't even export tracks from Lego Rock Band into Rock Band and Rock Band 2 (as the leaflet states).

You'd think now that Lego Rock Band makes use of some of the Rock Band 1 tracks, they'd put the Export Key up too.

At least Band Hero had the GH5 import ready to go. Absolutely no problems with that one!

I got the e-mail the whole kitchen sink reply as well. I'm going to hope that the time frame of a day or two (which is rapidly drawing to an end) for getting the code system working again is correct. If not, I'll jump through the hoops with the system and hope that fixes the issue.

Brilliant. I -haven't- received such an email. This keeps getting better and better.
