Same. About a good 2 dozen people away from even getting a wristband, who knows how far away from actually getting one for one of the seven 360 copies they had.

I did not get one. I am not pleased right now.

Same here. I got there at midnight and they handed out bracelets at 11, but I didn't know that so I waited in line until 3am....

Apparently he didn't think to call his local Old Navy store and ask about the promotion and hours of operation like it tells you to on the website before waiting for hours. Whose fault is it?

I gotta admit I called all the Old Navy's in my area beforehand to get the lowdown.

But then again the people answering the phone the day I called weren't necessarily the ones working there that day so you can't rely 100% on the info.

I stood out there for 10 minutes and easily got my copy for xbox. There were at least 100 people in line but no one was really that concerned about getting the wristbands. I slipped through and grabbed one, bought a belt and some socks, and went straight to checkout. They had a crate full of games. Now I intend to return this unopened copy to Gamestop! I promise to reinvest the money I get back into Rock Band, Harmonix!

If you mean return and not sell used to Gamestop, what you're describing is return fraud and people do get arrested for it. You may think its harmless, but it does negatively impact Gamestop and many stores actively prosecute return fraud just as they would shop-lifting. Yes, people get away with it, but its still a crime.

I went last night with some friends and waited in line for a couple of hours. We weren't the first few in line but we were close enough to where we should've gotten the game. Unfortunately, my Old Navy store was completely disorganized. They didn't have any line security (like Best Buy and Target did) and they didn't come out to give out the wristbands early. They gave out the wristbands right inside the door and as soon as the doors opened, not only did the line turn into a scrum that charged the doors, but a huge group of people that were waiting around in the parking lot all rushed in and we didn't end up getting anywhere near the wristbands.

I already have the game but my younger brother's been asking for it for Christmas and since money's kinda tight this year, it would've been a great help. Needless to say, I was really upset. So, that's my Black Friday story.

last year I was in line at Office Max for a laptop. We were third in line. We go in and they don't have the laptop. Never did. Thankfully I found a better deal online anyway.

girlfriend stood in line for an 1 hr and a half and was 32nd in line. they had 15 copies for each console.girlfriend got the 3rd from the last ps3 copy.made my weekend.
