So? Just because my little sister likes Nirvana that doesn't make them family friendly either.

... Or at least in my opinion songs like Rape Me aren't child-friendly.

When I first saw the final tracklist there were only about a dozen songs that I liked, mostly because of familiarity. After playing the game, I actually like pretty much all of them.

I only had a freeze happen once.

Generally, when something is rushed, it usually means that they should have taken more time. And it's pretty common for people that claim this about anything that there are specifics. It's kinda like how people say something sucks but they don't give a reason or they just say because it does, so please explain to us what makes you think it was rushed.

I would be too, especially considering how the game is $50 everywhere else. I got mine for $30. Anyway, I'm trying to imagine what a really pissed off person would look like having bought a game they should have researched about before purchase.

    Huh? O.o
If they were greedy they would have made new instruments, but then you also say it's stupid to not include new instruments. So do you mean you support and like greedy people?

According to what happened to me about 2 days ago, I hate ice cream.

Long story; We were talking about it snowing soon here in Afghanistan and I commented that I hate snow. PFC Davis asked me why and I told him, "Because it's cold, it's wet, and when it melts it makes a mess."

Then he asked me if I liked ice cream, and of course I said yes.

He retorts, "No you don't. You can't. It's cold, it's wet, and when it melts it makes a mess!"

I had no reply to that. Outsmarted by a PFC. The humanity.

Go back and read TheRockLegend's post. The one I quoted. He said that Slayer is family friendly because his friend's little brother listens to it all the time.

Of, for crying out loud get off your high horse. Its just insane to call this game a cash grab on the part of Harmonix. That's one of the dumbest things I've ever read. The made a game for a family audience and instead of just re-skinning the menus, they created a completely new experience with tons of personality and detail. There is nothing rushed about the game, and I've had a couple game freezes, too. Its not a huge problem. The game looks great, is very fun, and well worth the bargain price I paid of $42 new.

As to it not coming with instruments, can you stop for a second and just go to a video game store and look at all the instrument boxes they already carry? They aren't clamoring to devote MORE floor space to plastic instruments. You pick your battles. Harmonix got The Beatles in stores and opted not try to get big huge Lego boxes, either. Its not ideal, but its understandable. Given how cheap Rock Band 2 is going for, a savvy consumer can pick up both for the cost of a hypothetical Lego Rock Band bundle. If not less.
    This is not a signature.

Going by how many copies of the "Band Hero" boxset i see in game shops round here (its apparent nearest competition), HMX where wise not to do a instrument boxset with this game.
